Ethereal Designs and Crystals

This cup is one of many that I used wax with a stroke of a brush to mimic Japanese writing or calligraphy before applying glazes of purple and tenmoku.

I hand built this flower pot as a tribute to one of my favorite artist, Georgia O'Keeffe.

My Japanese mother's family owned a sake factory in Japan. This womb shaped sake set represents my Japanese heritage with my mother as the pitcher and my twin sister and I as the cups. It was Raku fired.

Ceramic 2017 Wabi Sabi in Japanese is the beauty of imperfection.
